The Tigers sat through a 2-Hour-And-19-Minute rain delay before taking game 2 of their series with the Kansas City Royals 7-1 Tuesday. Miguel Cabrera, Matt Joyce and Gary Sheffield added RBI’s in the Tiger win. Sheffield’s RBI was the 1600th of his career.
On the hill it was Kenny Rogers allowing 1 run on 4 hits in 6 innings to grab his 8th win of the season. This afternoon the Tigers look for a sweep of the Royals with coverage beginning at 1:50 on 590 KZO.
