One month removed from the Red Wings 4th Stanley Cup Championship in 11 years…Red Wings General Manager Ken Holland has been named Executive of the Year by “The Hockey News”.
Holland has either helped build or built all 4 of the Stanley Cup teams as well as the many Presidents’s trophy winning squads since 1997. He also just signed the Top Free Agent of 2008 Marian Hossa to a 1-year-deal.
