Placido Polanco broke the tie and Magglio Ordonez knocked in 2 a piece to give the Detroit Tigers a 7-5 win over the Seattle Mariners Sunday.
The win secured the Tigers first series victory since a 3-0 sweep of the Mariners on May 22nd at Comerica Park. Here’s Placido.
Zach Minor got the win in relief of Jeremy Bonderman who fired 7 innings, scattering 12 hits while only allowing 3 runs.
