Portage’s Lindsay Tarpley scored 1 of the United States 4 goals in a 4-0 win over New Zealand Tuesday.
The win helped the United States clinch a spot in the tournament’s quarterfinals only 2 days after falling to Norway in the tournament opener.
The Norwegians fell to Japan allowing the United States to grab their pool at the games.
