Detroit Free Press: Tigers Sign Freddy Garcia

The Detroit Tigers have reportedly signed Freddy Garcia to a minor league contract. Garcia hasn't pitched since last season with the Philadelphia Phillies.

He is a former star of the Chicago White Sox, but has been recovering from season ending shoulder surgery since last June. Garcia will report to Class A Lakeland this week and becomes a free agent after the season.
