Original Six Back In Play For Red Wings

For the past 4 years you’ve probably watched the Detroit Red Wings play the St. Louis Blues, Columbus Blue Jackets and Nashville Predators enough to never see them play again.

That all changed this morning when the NHL released it’s 2008-2009 hockey schedule. The Red Wings will get back to playing the all-important original six at least once this season.

In fact the Wings will play every team in the NHL at least once…including a rematch with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
