A first half that ended with a series loss to the Minnesota Twins wasn’t exactly what the Detroit Tigers expected when they began the season.
The series loss dropped them 7 games behind the AL Central Division leading White Sox. Tonight, they begin in exactly the same place as the start of the season…opening at .500 with the Baltimore Orioles standing in their way.
Kenny Rogers take the hill tonight for the Tigers with coverage beginning at 6:45 on 590 KZO.
