After months of wrangling, cheap shots and basically eternal litigation the University of Michigan has announced that it will pay 2.5-Million of Rich Rodriguez 4-Million-Dollar buyout clause immediately, while Rodriguez will pay the remaining 1.5-Million over a period of time as yet to be determined.
The University also announced that it will cover his legal fees at a later date.
