Detroit News Tax Blog: Prince Fielder Owes Over $400K To The IRS

It’s apparent bad news for former Metro Detroit little leaguer and current Milwaukee Brewer Prince Fielder. The Detroit News “Tax Watchdog” blog reported Fielder owes the Internal Revenue Service $409,000 in unpaid taxes…even going so far as to put a lien on his home in Florida.

An IRS Spokesman told the Associated Press Fielder may have already paid off the debt…it just hasn’t been recorded yet. Fielder’s father and former Tiger Cecil ran into his own money troubles 4-years ago…when the Detroit News reported that Fielder had lost 47-Million in bad business decisions and gambling.
