Broncos Give Steve Hawkins 5-Year-Deal Worth 1.23-Million In Base Salary

Bronco Head Basketball Coach Steve Hawkins has signed a 5-year-deal worth an average of 246,000 per season.

191,000 of which will be base salary while the rest will serve for radio, television and public appearances. Those funds are expected to be raised through the athletic department.

Hawkins led the Broncos to a MAC Title and NCAA Tournament appearance in his first season at the helm in 2004. Hawkins is coming off a 20-12 MAC West Division Title in 2008.
