It was yet another loss for an underachieving Detroit Tigers team Tuesday against the Los Angeles Angels. In the top of the 9th Mark Teixeira’s sacrifice fly scored Chone Figgins to give the Angels a 5-4 win.
Miguel Cabrera and Edgar Renteria were the Tigers bright spots…with each collecting 3 hits on the night. Cabrera hit a homerun and a double in the process.
Tonight the Angels send Jon Garland against Zach Minor with coverage beginning at 6:45 on 590 KZO.
