One week from the season opener the Detroit Lions have reportedly signed former Cincinnati Bengals running back Rudi Johnson. Johnson averaged over 1400 yards between 2004-2006 but struggled with injuries over his final 2 seasons with the Bengals.
Johnson is expected to share time with Lions rookie Kevin Smith at running back.
