Rodriguez Leads Yankees Over Tigers

by Dan Cash

For the first time since Rodriguez was traded to the New York Yankees last month he came back to Comerica Park Monday. Pudge was victorious in his return going 2-for-5 in a 13-9 Yankees win. Rodriguez says the ovation he received was something special.

The Tigers trailed 11-2 heading into the 4th inning when they scored 6 runs to get within 11-8. Than it was Kalamazoo native Derek Jeter driving in 2 with an RBI Single.

The loss drops the Tigers to 2-and-6 in their last 8. Tonight the Los Angeles Angels come to Comerica Park with coverage beginning at 6:45 on 590 KZO.
