In Detroit the Tigers began their home stand in the same way they ended their long road trip…with yet another loss.
Edgar Renteria and Marcus Thames hit homeruns before an infield single by Brandon Inge in the 7th tied the game at 3 for the Tigers.
That however was short lived as Franklyn Gutierrez homered in the top of the 10th to give the Cleveland Indians a 4-3 win. The series between the Tigers and Indians continues tonight…coverage begins at 6:45 on 590 KZO.
