Just when it seemed the Tigers were headed for yet another disaster…Miguel Cabrera singled in the tying run and Edgar Renteria…finished it off with an RBI single.
Armando Gallaraga was brilliant on the hill firing 8 strong innings en route to his 11th win of the season. Renteria and Cabrera both finished with 2 RBI’s on 2 hits.
Up next the Tigers welcome the Baltimore Orioles into Comerica Park with coverage beginning at 6:45 Friday.
