On Friday evening we decided to check out the famed "O Street" in downtown Lincoln. We sought out the Chicago Style Pizza restaurant for a dinner and a some drinks. Of course our waitress ended up being a Nebraska student originally from Omaha.
The interesting part of the conversation involved her understanding of the Nebraska tunnel walk. She describes it for you below:

From there I ended up walking down "O Street" and within 2 minutes I ran into a Western Michigan Alum who drove in for the game. 08' graduate Mike Hara, much like everyone in Nebraska, had an interesting story to tell:

To end the evening we walked into a Nebraska scalper (It's legal in Nebraska) and he proceeded to tell us that he had been on that very corner for years. You honestly have to see these guys to believe them.
They stand Friday and Saturday of game days waiting on a corner near O Street simply waiting for the crowds to flow by. The way it works is that Nebraska fans will come to the game even if they don't have tickets...because they are always assured of tickets when they walk past the corner.
The signs they hold say: "I NEED TICKETS" on one side followed by a somewhat hidden "BUY-SELL-ALL-DAY" on the other side. All this being said...the way to best illustrate the differences in ticket sales between Nebraska and Michigan...the scalper handed John Koch and myself his card. CLASSIC.
The trip continues tommorow with a live blog from Memorial Stadium as well as more video of downtown Lincoln on game day.
Oh and if you need it...the scalper is located on O Street right next to the local gas station predicting a 38-17 Nebraska win over WMU. You have to appreciate this much love for one's football team.
"The Dan Cash Show" will be live once again from Lincoln Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:30 PM ET on ESPN 1660 and ESPN 1660.COM where we will take you right into the Michigan game on ESPN 1660.
