Cliff Lee Beats Tigers For 19th Win

Cliff Lee improved to 19-2 on the season for the Indians allowing only 2 runs on 6 hits in 7-and-2/3 innings in Tuesday’s 10-4 win over the Tigers. It wasn’t nearly the debut Tigers Triple-A call-up Chris Lambert was hoping for…

Lambert lasted only 2-and-1/3 innings allowing 6 runs on 5 hits before being pulled in favor of Aquilino Lopez. The Tigers never recovered from the poor start falling behind 8-0 before Ryan Raburn broke the shutout by doubling in Marcus Thames in the bottom of the 5th.

Tonight the Tigers and Indians close out their series with coverage beginning at 6:45 on 590 KZO.
