A 2-2 split of their 4-game-series with the Seattle Mariners keeps the Detroit Tigers 7 games behind the first place White Sox in the American League Central Division.
The run pushed the Tigers over the top before Todd Jones closed it out in typical roller coaster style…hitting the first batter before forcing a double play.
Nate Robertson allowed only 1 run on 4 hits in 9 innings to grab the no-decision. The win improves the Tigers to 44-44 on the season. Tonight the Tigers take the night off before the Cleveland Indians head to Comerica Tuesday with coverage beginning at 6:45 on 590 KZO.
