Frontier League Skills Competition Results

While the Major Leagues held the 79th All-Star Game Tuesday it was the Frontier League holding their skills competition at Traverse City’s Wuerfel Park.

Kalamazoo Kings catcher Mike Russell came in 2nd by 1-100th of a second in the catcher’s pop time to Charlie Lisk of the Gateway Grizzlies.

In the outfield it was Kings Rightfielder Simon Williams coming in 4th in the outfield accuracy throw rounding out the Kings placement in the skills competition. Tonight the All-Star game begins at 7:05 up North.
