Tigers Win Their 3rd Straight Series

Another start…another win for the surprising Armando Gallaraga and the Detroit Tigers pitching staff. Gallaraga improved to 7-2 on the season allowing 7 hits and 2 runs in 6 innings.

Freddy Dolsi went 2 innings in relief before Zach Minor finished out the 7-2 win for the Tigers in the 9th.

The Tigers take tonight off before heading to San Diego to take on the Padres Friday on 590 KZO. Joel Zumaya is expected to join the Tigers for the first time this season on Friday.
