Soft Pillow Sends Inge To 15-Day-DL

Losing players to injury is exactly what the Detroit Tigers do not need right now…but it was announced before Wednesday’s loss to the Cardinals that Tigers utility man Brandon Inge was headed to the DL. It’s the way he strained his oblique muscle that is gaining national attention however.

Inge told the Detroit Media he aggravated the injury moving a pillow for his 3-year-old-son. When the Detroit Free Press asked Tigers Manager Jim Leyland…he simply remarked, “That’s a first”.
