In Kalamazoo the Kings used their first day in weeks atop the Frontier League East to drop a 5-4 decision to the Midwest Sliders.
The King scored 3 in the bottom of the 2nd inning to take a 3-1 lead before Midwest scored 4 in the top of the 5th to secure the win.
Earl Oaks closed it out for Midwest breaking the Kings 3-game-winning streak. The Kings and Sliders play game 2 tonight with coverage beginning at 6:45 on ESPN 1660.
