The Moors Golf Club in Portage is set to host it’s first ever Michigan Amateur Golf Tournament this week. The event brings 156 golfers to the Kalamazoo area…all vying for a shot at the Amateur Championship.
Moors Golf Club General Manager and PGA Director of Golf Clark Peterson says it’s a lot of hard work coming to fruition.
The Tournament is free with no parking fees…but the Moors is asking fans to park at the Portage West Middle School where a shuttle will take you to the club every 3-5 minutes throughout the tournament.
The Michigan Amateur Championship at the Moors is brought to you all week long by Kumo Hibachi and Sushi on South Westnedge.
