A fierce crowd gave the Pittsburgh Penguins the necessary oomph to fight past a late barrage from the Red Wings Wednesday.
Sidney Crosby scored 2 for the Penguins before Adam Hall put in the game winner in the 3rd.
For the Red Wings it was Johan Franzen and Mikael Samuelsson keeping them close.
Chris Osgood made 21 saves for the Wings in the 3-2 loss. Heading into game 4 the Red Wings still lead 2-1, Game 4 is set for Saturday at 8.
